What is the name of the church?
New Life Cathedral IFC is our new name. To ensure our followers remain connected throughout our transition, we will include “Home of New Life International Family Church” on our publications and digital channels until February 1, 2023. Transitioning to a new name or brand takes time.
What does "IFC" mean?
“IFC” means “International Family Church”. Our planted churches will be an extension of our ministry and will carry this unique brand symbol.
Is "IFC" a denomination?
IFC is not a denomination. We are a Christ-Centered, Bible-Based, Family-Oriented, Community-Involved, Well-balanced assembly of churches.
Why is the name changing?
With the establishment of our own edifice, we have taken the liberty to refresh and refine our brand. The addition of the word “cathedral” reflects the grace of our leader, Bishop J.C. Williams. “Cathedral” comes from a Latin word meaning “seat.” It refers to the seat of a Bishop, who is the leader of a group of churches related to a cathedral.
Are we still using #IamNLIFC ?
#IamNLIFC will be replaced with #newlifecathedralifc on February 1, 2023.
When will the web address and social media accounts change?
As of February 1, 2023 our web address has changed to newlifecathedralifc.org , and our social media handles have been updated to @newlifecathedralifc.
